Open Graph description bug

The Open Graph description meta tag (meta property=”og:description”) in the blog post contains the beginning of the text instead of the blog excerpt.
However, when editing the post, the corresponding description field in the Social Settings tab shows the excerpt correctly. If you manually change the description field, the blog post will contain the Open Graph description correctly. So only the automatic generation of the Open Graph meta tag description has a bug.
The meta tag for search engines (meta name=”description”) works correctly. That is, it uses the blog excerpt.

Sorry, I didn’t fully explain.
tldr; uncheck the “Use Content For Autogenerated OG Descriptions” setting.
The option to autogenerate OG/Twitter descriptions should have used excerpt if one exists, then content (if one isn’t manually entered). It actually used the content instead.
We’ve removed that checkbox (autogenerate OG/Twitter descriptions now happen for every site by default) and have added another, to use the content instead of the excerpt.
However, since the previous option to autogenerate used the content rather than excerpt, this new setting is checked if that one was, in order to not change people’s sites.
