    Hi

I am hiring a developer to do some work. I have described the task below. I would like him to utilize table press in this process. So my question is —is there a feasible way to build it around Table press. Appreciate any suggestions.

    Task
For a given user (based on user demand – pressing a button)
Fetch a set of records from a DBS table (~8to10 columns,~30 rows) “relative to that user”
Write the data into an excel file format (leverage table press somehow)
    Display it on a screen
Allow the user to change a status field in the table

In this scenario he would need to dynamically use table press per user request. It would be temporary usage of the excel.

Appreciate any insight and any comment you can make on the complexity of this change.

    Thanks
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

To be honest, I think that your request contains too many “dynamic” pieces as for this to be possible with TablePress.
Also, if the data is in a different source already (a DBS table), there is no need for TablePress here.

So, doing this without TablePress will probably be more flexible.

    Regards,
    Tobias
