    HI…I am also having the problem with maps loading, even in preview mode.

    I have created and tried a new browser key as well as a server key. Neither work.

    I have also installed the API key for Google plugin but that hasn’t worked either.

    1 other question.. I am using wp-types and have a number of custom posts. A search will pull out and display the information for a specific organization. I want a map associated with the organization that will also show nearby places (exactly what this plugin does)Is there a way to call a map based on a custom field or something that will allow me to dynamically link a map to a custom post?

    Thanks in advance and hoping to see if any fixes for the maps not showing up.

    If the maps are not loading correctly in your WordPress Admin, then it’s most likely a plugin conflict. Please disable ALL plugins except Maps Builder. If it behaves correctly at that point, re-activate each plugin one by one until you experience the problem again, then let us know which plugin caused the conflict.

    If after you disable all plugins it still doesn’t work as expected it’s most likely a theme conflict. Let us know which theme you are using and we’ll dig into a workaround.

    Ended up getting the javascript api and things are working.

    HI..back again…I was wrong and issue was NOT resolved.

    Using the javascript api key allowed me to see and build the maps in the admin area, but the maps would not appear on the front end using the shortcode embedded in a post.

    I disabled the other plugins and was able to view the map on the front end.

    After re-enabling them one by one, it appears it is the wp-types Views plugin that is preventing the map from displaying on the front end.

    I enabled/disabled the plugin several times and each time it was enabled, the map would not show up on the front end.

    if your not familiar with the wp-types plugins, the views plugin lets you create build ‘groups’ of custom fields and display them on the front end using shortcodes.

    The map shortcode is all by itself on a post and I’m not using the wp-types plugin in any way combined with the map.

    Thanks for that testing. I’m very familiar with Types/Views (or Toolkit now). I’ll test that and see if I can get a workaround for you. It’s possible it’s a combination of Types/Views plus your theme though. Either way, I’ll keep you posted.
