  • You can set “post name” as permalink from the wordpress back end and then save.

    Hi.

After reinstalling wordpress on my synology nas and installed all the programs needed for WordPress to work, the site just will not open.

Any idear what the reason can be?

In most cases this is caused by your permalinks settings.

    1.Go to your dashboard-settings-permalinks
    2.Set to default
    3.Save changes
    4.change to post and name
    5.Save Changes

I sorted it, my convertalink was missing and I changed the permalink to post and name, so it was either a combination of those or one of them.
As a digital immigrant this is brilliant success
    Thanks guys
