• I have tried to embed a blab for example. blab.im they give you the iframes code.

When I use the shortcode to embed and preview the page it is there. However when I publish the page, it breaks the iframe and goes directly to the site that is used with the iframe.

    Thanks for the help

Can you share the shortcode which you are using?

Sure. When put on a page, you can preview the page and it is embedded. When you publish and view the page it breaks the iframe.

Your shortcode works for me: [iframe src=”https://blab.im/brett-mason-ben-carson-is-fooling-america-with-his-book-sales” width=”640″ height=”480″]

Try to enable the default theme and see if it will fix the problem.
If yes – the issue is related to theme.

If no – try to disable plugins one by one. Maybe one of your plugins is causing the conflict.

If this will not help – try to open page with shortcode in different browser.

Or you may try to share the link to the page with the issue and probably this will give us some clues.

Here is the link to the page. but it will bust out and take you to the blab website. So not sure how you could be able to see the page.

    brett-mason.com/blab

I tried it in 3 browsers with the same result.
I deactivated all other plugins with the same result
I tried it in the wordpress 2015 basic theme with same result

    Thanks!

    hm, weird.
    That page redirect immediately.

Can you try https instead of http in shortcode?

yes, I have already tried it with and without the ‘s’ https vs http

Yep, it redirects it instantly. But if you are logged in and just preview the page, it works fine. Even after you have published it. You can choose the page preview option and the embed looks great.
