Only Works for Admins

    This plugin works fine for administrators, but does not retain notes for subscribers once they log out.

    A look at the plugin files shows it is limited to users with special permissions. I forget which one, maybe “can add files”.

    I deleted that filter in two places, but then it wouldn’t save the note at all.

    How can it be made to work for subscribers?

    Solved it.

    Go to includes>class-wpdn-ajax.php

    Change all instances of “edit_posts” to “read”.

    Now subscriber notes persist.
