You have to move the wordpress to root.

Open your wp-config.php and insert at the bottom:

define(‘WP_HOME’, ‘https://www.example.com’); // no trailing slash
define(‘WP_SITEURL’, ‘https://www.example.com’); // no trailing slash

with your site url updated. This will override everything.
