Only working on home page

  • Our age gate only appears to be working on the home page. If we send people via marketing materials or otherwise to a page such as ajoyalife.com/specials the age gate appears but once the user clicks yes, it just spirals and doesn’t allow access to the page.

    Hi @kateajoya,

    Your theme is replacing jQuery with “jQuery Slim” that doesn’t have the Ajax methods as part of it. I get this error on your specials page:

    Uncaught TypeError: jQuery.ajax is not a function.

    It’s also switched on the homepage though so I’m surprised it works there.

    Are you able to switch to full jQuery rather than the slime version?

    Thanks for taking a look. We updated the jQuery and things look good.
