Only Update Certain cols/rows

I am planning to use your plugin for an existing site which will have a table that, that will require a lot of manipulation from within Table press ie top 4 or 5 rows will each need to be merged and text centered, also cols widths are not acceptable in standrad form to that will need to be changed. similarly each rows at the bottom of the table will need same treatment as the top 4 or 5 rows and finally to make it easier to read blocks of cols/rows will need background colour to be changed to make the table easy to read.

BUT how to update the table from excel without going through all of the above each time i update it? in most cases each update will impact 2 col/row areas?

Can this be done easily?
