Only translate taxonomy name

  • I am designing a local classified advertisement multi-language site. I have categories (custom taxonomy), and users can post their ads into these categories. Now, I would like to have the category names translated, but I do not require users to translate their ads. So what I would like to have is to show the ads independent from the query language.
    Is this scenario working with Polylang? Would this be the duplicated feature in Polylang Pro?

  • Not out of the box and with regular WordPress query.
    You have to query the posts, on the page, by yourself without language parameter.
