Only the SEO snippet appears on my blog after update

  • I updated my blog’s theme – Ascetica- and after that only the SEO snippet appears on my blog. I did not change anything manually.
    There is a line showing excerpt right near the end in content.php but I am getting the snippet not the excerpt!
    Any suggestions gratefully received. I spend most of Memorial Day weekend trying to fix this!

    Well I don’t understand why I got snippets rather than excerpts but I changed the excerpt to content and now the full post appears!
