only specific categories?

    Thanks for trying out Post Notif and putting in the effort to keep the threads coherent – I do appreciate it! ??

    Just like the thread you referenced, this is another good feature that is presently lacking in Post Notif. Truth be told, this was something I liked in the old Post Notification plugin, and have intended to add all along and just haven’t done it to this point.

    If you can wait a bit, I will put it on my list of enhancements, but honestly don’t know when it will get implemented. In the meantime, I don’t know what your comfort level is as pertains to tinkering with plugin code, but if you have a relatively static set of categories that you want users to be able to choose from, it shouldn’t be terribly difficult to do some hardcoding in a few places to restrict the available categories to only those you want to expose. Please let me know if this sounds appealing and I can point you in the right direction.

    As you’ll discover, when you get a chance to upgrade to v1.0.5 of Post Notif (released last night), your feature has been included. Please do let me know what you think, once you have a chance to try it out!
