Hello,

I have checked all other related support topics on this issue and checked all settings in the troubleshooting/guide pages. I can confirm that webp versions exist (they can be accessed directly by adding .webp to the file name) and about 50% of the images on the page are being correctly served as webp. However the other 50% are still being served as jpeg even though they are called in the same way as those that are webp, and the webp files exist.

I have tried regenerating and clearing all caches (local and Cloudflare) and the browser is fine, as half the images are being served correctly.

Any ideas why not all of the images are showing as webp? I can confirm that the webp option has always been enabled and the files do exist (and can be accessed) they are just not always being served.

Yes, I have already tried all the suggestions and links posted in other questions on this topic. That is how I found out that the webp are being generated and can be accessed directly via URL. Everything else in that page is also correct, as the webp are being served correctly 50% of the time even though they are present for all images and all images are in the same folder and served in the same way.

I quickly checked few images in your home page , the ones doesn’t show in webp , doesn’t have webp version

e.g.

Thanks, but the webp version were all loading when accessed directly for me yesterday (I agree with you that those ones are not loading now), however they are showing as present in the media gallery as below for the images above:

the info in media page is per group

like when you upload 1 image, wp will generate, I am imagining it here , 8 different size images

even if one or few of these images in this image group have webp version , then media indicator will show , despite some other images in this group don’t have webp

no , some images just won’t have webp for various reason , typically the wbep is larger , and since it’s larger , then there is no point to keep them.
