only show subitems in menu of twenty twelve

    I have a page with the title ‘video’ in the navigation bar of twenty twelve. This page has different subpages (subitems).

    I will only offer the possibility for the visitors to select the subitems, not the page ‘video’. The title ‘video’must stay in the navigation bar.

    Does anybody know a solution for this?

    1. Go to Appearance > Menus from the admin dashboard.
    2. Scroll down and expand the Links section on the left.
    3. For the URL, just put in #, nothing else. For Link text, put in Video.
    4. Click the Add to Menu button, then drag & drop the new menu item on the right to where the existing Video menu item is.
    5. Drag & drop the sub menu items from the old Video menu item to the new Video menu item.
    6. Delete the old Video menu item.
    7. Click the Save Menu button.

    When users click on the Video menu item, nothing will happen, but the submenu items will still work.

    If you really want to get fancy, inspect the menu item with a web debugging tool like Firebug or Chrome Developer Tools, find out the ID of the new menu item, then add some CSS to prevent the cursor from turning into a hand pointer on hover.

    Hello out there!
    My wordpress wpzoom photonote site will not delete old menus or post WHEN I GO TO EDIT STUFF etc etc…HELP!! A pop up box just says error in deleting!!

    1. Please make sure you read the Forum Welcome message. You should always start your own thread and not hijack another thread.
    2. You should always include a link to your site when you post a question
    3. Because PhotoNote is a commercial theme, you will need to contact WPZoom for support. The only themes which are supported here are those in the WordPress theme repository.
