Only show images from the published posts in mla_galery

    Hello Devid and thank you for the great Plugin!

    I’m setting up the galery at the following adress: https://walkera-fans.de/galerie/

    The plugin is documented excellently, but I still haven’t found a way to show all uploaded images attached to posts, except for the images which are attached to draft posts which are not yet published.

    Here are my current shortcodes:

    Best of

[mla_gallery post_parent=any attachment_category=best-of order=desc posts_per_page=999 ]

    Thank you for your kind words and for your question. If I understand your goal, you want to display items attached to posts/pages where the post_status of the parent is “publish”.

    The best suggestion I can make is to build a custom SQL query for the items you want, following the example given in this recent support topic:

    It should be straightforward to alter the SQL details to do what you want. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have questions or would like me to be more specific about the PHP/SQL code required. I’d like to confirm that you can use the filter-based approach before we go any further. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
