Only show content from home page , no blog entries

    Hi,

    I wanted to know how can i show on the front page just the Home page. I dont want the content columns displaying on the home page. I checked the Simplepress theme (ElegantThemes) options under the homepage tab and it seems like i have to select content pages.
    I still want the slider from the home page though. I wanted to keep everything from the original Simplepress theme home page but just display the text i want to display on the home page, and not the three Content columns.

    The link to my website is iodine. You can see how the home page content is pushed below the three content columns above, I want to get rid of them.

    Plaease advise how to do this. thanks a lot for your help

  • Have you asked Elegant Themes about this? We don’t have access to commercial themes, so really don’t know how they work.

    are these 3 not widget areas? Appearance> Widgets>?

    no, they are content from three different pages. Instead of displaying them I just want to display static content from the home page. In their theme options you have to pick out content pages or if you use a static home page, it gets rid of the image slider?!? I havnt heard back from them so wanted to ask if someone has done this before
