Only sell product when customer enters valid code

    I would like to create a product attribute where the customer can only add the product to their cart if they enter the valid code that I have sent to them via e-mail. You can compare this to a license for them to use the product.

    Does anybody have any ideas how I can achieve this?

    Note, this is different from voucher codes.

    Hi there,

    At the moment there’s no default functionality for that although you could use the visibility option for each product here:

    This means the user would need to enter a password in order to *see* the product (and thereby add it to their cart). Of course, sending the password/code would need to be done manually and isn’t part of WooCommerce itself.
