Only see the button text in site front-end – no image

    Hi

    I’ve done something so that although my back-end button editing appears to be fine I’m not getting actual basic button images on my site’s front-end. The links all work when I click on the textin the front-end (the buttons are predominantly linked to audio files which play perfectly) but there is no button image. The images are present in the button editor, however. I’ve spent hours…….!

    Can you post a link to the page with the buttons? Have you tried clearing all caches (site cache and browser cache)?

    Hi Alan. An extraordinary thing happened overnight. At midnight I closed down with no buttons showing having spent another fruitless hour scratching my head and going through all the options I could think of. At 9.15 this morning I suddenly realised they had reappeared. They sort of crept up on me and surprised me while I was doing something else. I wonder whether some cache finally cleared itself although I had done this so many times I can’t really think why. Anyway I’m holding my breath – it seems stable at the moment.
