• Hello all,

I’m having an issue with this plugin where after I query for multiple categories it only returns one when it should be returning multiple (on the webpage, click Update Search). When I disable this plugin it returns the correct number of categories, so I’m quite certain something with this plugin is causing this issue.

I’ve tried many different things like changing the query, trying different ways of querying, etc. Nothing seems to fix it (other than disabling the plugin). Could I have some help with figuring out what’s happening?

    Thanks!

thanks for reporting this. Let me check this and get back to you.

in the mean time, you can specify ‘suppress_filters’=>true in your query to turn off filtering and this will stop the plugin

I fixed this in v2.9.1. Can you let me know if it fixes your issue.

I just realized I disabled the plugin, so you likely weren’t able to test it properly on the website I linked, my bad.

It seems the plugin is mostly working now; the categories are all showing up in searches now. But there is still some odd behaviour, I’ve activated the plugin, so you should be able to check it: The order is correct when only a single category is selected and then the search is updated, but as soon as there’s more than one category the order goes back to the default.

Let me know what you find or if it’s something on our end, thanks!

but as soon as there’s more than one category the order goes back to the default.

indeed and that’s the expected result. Your manual sorting only affects 1 term.

If you query multiple terms/taxonomies then there is no way for the plugin to know which order to return.
