The plugin should pick from the total pool of pages (or pages in a category if you chose that option). It doesn’t currently support picking a parent page and only using child pages as the pool of possible pages to redirect. That’s a feature that has been requested, though, so on our radar. Just not always enough hours in the day! ??

Thanks for replying Robert, I would really love to use your plugin to make a feature I’m trying to add to my site be possible.

How many hours or how much would you charge to make this feature possible?

I would need it to only pick from parent pages then have to option select certain page ID’s to be excluded. Example: 143,123,56,34

    Hiya,

It’s a good idea. Unfortunately, I just don’t have time at the moment to take this on. It’s on a list that I review periodically, however, so won’t be lost–just not something I can commit to at the moment.

That said, you may be able to achieve what you want using tagging. By tagging all children of a parent except those ones you mention that you don’t want, you could use the tag option for random redirection. Depends on how many posts are involved, and how much time it would take to tag them all.

    Hope that helps!

    Best,
    Robert
