    Can you be more specific of your problem? Perhaps elaborate more.

    This may be what Matt is asking – If there are multiple taxonomies to be be queried against, but a user only selects one of the three, how can the other two be excluded from the results?

    For example, if each drop down taxonomy had it’s default set to the taxonomy’s label, and only when the user moved it to an actual value would it be included in the search query.

    No, I don’t think so. Not that is not impossible, but need some complicated customization.
