    Hi!
I have a problem with my H1 in all of my pages. As I understand, you can’t have a H1 header in the content box after I have given the title of the page. I change it to H2 and then H3 and so on. Still it’s showing a red bullet.

I haven’t changed the header to H2 in all of the pages seens the red bullet don’t disapear in dose that I have.

    Someone with the same problem?

Appreciate all the help and tips I can get.

    BR

  • Hi,

We do recommend that posts/pages have at least 1 H1 tag we would expect Yoast to show green bullets if you have added the subheading tags like h2 and h3 correctly. We would like some more information.

    1. Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO, v9.5?

    2. Are all your non-Yoast plugins and themes also updated?

    3. Can you describe exactly what the warning Yoast is saying about the h2/h3 tags?

    4. Are you using a pagebuilder like WPBakery or Divi to create pages?

    Hi!
I have notice that the header, the one that you put at the top where you name the page IS the H1 in YOAST. Therefore when you in the body create a H1 title it will say that you have more then one H1.

Try to start with H2 or H3 in the body or just a text paragraph and you will see that it will stop saying that you have more than one H1.

Good Luck! Hope you all solve this problem now =)

    Hi everyone,

If you’re using a page builder plugin or include the page title in the content editor, we expect this warning to appear even if you only have one H1 when you view the page source. If this is the case, you can disregard this warning in the Yoast content analysis.

As recommended in the WordPress theme handbook most themes include the page title in separate template files, so Yoast SEO expects the H1 tag to appear outside of the content editor.

Side note to everybody Except carlaoli (@carlaoli),

Please do not jump into other topics. If the troubleshooting already posted made no difference for you, then, as per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. A lot more people will see your post, and that way you stand a good chance of getting the assistance you want. Despite any similarity in symptoms, your issue is likely to be completely different because of possible differences in physical servers, accounts, hosts, plugins, theme, configurations, etc. Thus one problem, on one setup is not indicative of the functionality and reliability of an application as a whole.
