Only one category per page

  • Hello all,

    I am finally giving up and ask for help to understand how to do this.

    I have two different categories (ID1 & ID2) and I want only posts from ID1 on index.php and only posts from ID2 on another page.
    I understand that I should use templates to do so but I am not sure about the loop to use.

    Help would really really appreciate !
