Hi guys, I was wondering if it was possible to have only one category showing on a page page that is not my index page..

Say if I had Home – Images – News as my pages if I could have home showing images and news but the news page only showing news?

If possible how would I go about making my other pages not static and having categories show?

Not exactly, If I read right that link explains how to change what happens when you click on the category, I am trying to put only a certain few categories into a certain page.

You know how you create a page in wp-admin, well I want to be able to make each of those pages only display 1-2 categories instead of being a static page, say if I was to create 5 posts they would all display on front page right? I want to be able to put them into certain categories so only posts 2 and 4 for example show on that other page.

Take a look at my site, https://bluegrassmiataclub.com/, under Good Stuff->Good Eats.

If this is what you had in mind, I would be happy to share the code with you. Use the About->Contact Us form to reach me – Mac McDonald.

Aseenus, if images and news are (separate) categories with posts added to them, then all you need is a menu link to both categories and when you then click on the menu link for news it will load a page with only posts that are placed in that category. This is standard Wp behaviour.

Maybe I misunderstood the question. I thought that 2 different categories were to be shown on the same page. I don’t think that is possible with the category link. Is that right?

Yes right, a category link only displays that one category.
    Only Aseenus can tell ??
