Only odd post IDs, how come ?

Hello,

I noticed that all the blog notes that I create on my test blog have an odd ID : 1, 3, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25…

There is not a single even post ID ! (2, 4, 6, 8…)

Would you know how to avoid that ?

The reason is, I found on that wordpress forum topic a great solution to have my posts sorted in two columns from index.php, placing even posts in a left column and odd posts in a right column…

But that won’t work if my blog contains only odd entries.

Thanks if you can help with making my blog assign randomly even and odd IDs ??
