Only migrate user database?

  • Does this plugin have the option to ONLY migrate the user database from one website to another? I built a new website for a client, and they want to “move” all the users over (password and all) to the new site, but obviously we wouldn’t want to migrate the full database.

    Hi

    This is not supported, because each user is associated with specific WP objects like comments, posts, pages on export/import site and if we export set of users and import them to another site, the plugin doesn’t know how to associate corresponding comments, posts, pages and that may cause database inconsistency. You can do a full database backup in order to keep the associations between objects.
