    Hi
the wordpress OneSignal plugin seems to select a low-resolution image for the automated messages by default, which is – in our case – 150x100px (even though images up to 700px are available). Consequently the image quality is low, isn’t shown in large size. I’ve written a mmessage through the OneSignal webpage, manually including the normal image with 700px width and it works perfectly. There is roughly a 50% drop in CTR from high res to low res image quality, hence an issue I’d like to fix fast. Any recommendations?

    thanks
    Jan

  • Hey Jan,

Sorry for the delay. This issue should be fixed now. We now choose the closest image to 192×192 for the small icon (which is only large enough for an 80×80 display, but 192×192 looks sharper without using too much bandwidth). For the large web push icon, we choose a “large” size image, whichever is available that maxes out at 640×480.
