Only log user events for a specific user role

Is it possible for me to log user profile changes only when they are done TO a specific user role’s profile?

For example, I’m successfully logging when a user has their profile fields changed (name, custom fields, etc…) But I only want to see when these fields are changed on a subscriber-role’s profile. I don’t need to see when an admin or an editor has their name changed.

I see a role exclusion setting, but I still want to log if any role made the changes — I just only care if those changes were done to a subscriber’s profile.

Can this be done? If it requires custom code, can you point me to the right hook or example in your documentation? Thanks!
