• Hi, I have three Notifications set up for articles on a site that I work on as an editor (with an Admin account), via the BracketSpace Notifications plugin: Pending Review, Scheduled, and Published. The Pending Review and Scheduled notifications come to my email as they should. However, I only get Published notifications when I publish immediately, not when the article was previously Scheduled and then Published. I read the BracketSpace Notification Troubleshooting article and I think this could have something to do with our SMTP, but I’m not sure, since I’m getting some notifications properly by email. Authors sometimes get notifications about their articles being Published as they should, but sometimes they don’t. Does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks!

ETA: We have WordPress 6.3.2. and the plugin is only guaranteed to be compatible with versions up to 6.2.3, I noticed. Perhaps the issue is that simple.

Hi Erica, the plugin works just fine with the latest WordPress.

If you’re getting those notifications sometimes it would suggest it’s indeed the deliverability issue. You can enable the notification logging in the plugin settings to see if the notifications are caught in the log vs if they’re reaching the inbox.

Thank you very much. I’ll mention this to the site owner soon.
