only first applicable Smart Related rule works

    Hello!

    When there are products that satisfy more than 1 Smart Related rule, only the first rule on top works other rules are not executed at all.

    So I can’t choose related products from certain category and certain brand. I can only choose certain category or certain brand.

    Yes, that is correct. We have also clarified this on the Smart Rules page. Only the first rule is applicable to the matched products when there are more than one satisfied. This is to make sure the rules are not intefered with one another and the related products are properly displayed following the corresponding rules.

    This also has some relations to the custom related products being reused in other WPC plugins as Linked, Upsell, Cross-sell, etc. so it has to be that way. It’s impossible to change the mechanism.

    There’s no way to change that. The order counts. You will need to revise the rules and make only 1 applicable rule for a product or a group of products.
