I am using the shortcode with the Elementor plugin. Initially, it seemed to work fine. However, when I opened the website in another browser where I was not logged into my account, the posts did not load. The browser console displayed the following error:

POST https://mydomain.com/wp-json/wordpress-popular-posts/v2/widget?is_single=0 403 (Forbidden)
```
Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Hi @june01,

An HTTP 403 Forbidden error response usually means that:
- You have a page caching plugin installed on your site and the caching rules you’re using with it are a tad too aggressive (see Is WordPress Popular Posts compatible with caching plugins? for more details + suggestions/recommendations); or
- You have a security / firewall plugin installed on your site that’s blocking access to the REST API for non-logged in users (see Is WordPress Popular Posts compatible with security / firewall plugins? for more details); or
- You have a site optimization plugin installed on your site which minifies JavaScript code as part of its optimization process, however its JavaScript minification process might be a little bit too greedy which may result in this kind of issue (see Is WordPress Popular Posts compatible with plugins that minify / bundle JavaScript code? for details + suggestions / recommendations); or
- A combination of any of the above.
If the FAQs linked above didn’t help, please try following these troubleshooting instructions to find out what’s causing the problem and report back.

thanks caching was the issue.

I have another question, I would like to create a mobile app and need to display most viewed posts there as well. Is it possible to do this? Are there any API endpoints to use. I am familiar with the one provided by wordpress but I don’t know how to use it with this plugin.
