Hi, is there a way to only display the search query /?s=search and not display as follows?

    &asl_active=1&p_asl_data=1&categoryset[]=23&categoryset[]=25&categoryset[]=22&categoryset[]=27&categoryset[]=24&categoryset[]=43&customset[]=post&asl_gen[]=content&asl_gen[]=title&qtranslate_lang=0&filters_initial=1&filters_changed=0

    Thank you

    Hi,

Yes, it is possible. While I do not recommend it, there is an option to change the method for submitting the form from the default GET to POST. That way the argument are sent in the POST method body, instead of the query arguments.

    All the best,

Thanks for your response. That’s much neater.

May I ask why you don’t recommend it?

Pagination can be an issue (in very rare cases), as the query arguments must be stored within a browser local storage and reset every time a new search request is triggered. With the Get method the arguments are within the query string, so it is more persistent.

Ok thanks. I haven’t noticed any issues so hopefully it works.

Great, then it’s going to be all right ??

I will mark this topic as resolved then, feel free to rate the plugin if you like it, it is greatly appreciated.

    Ernest M.
