Only change tha date language?

    Is there any way to only change the language of the dates without have to install a complete lang package?
    I want the dates presented in Swedish but I want to keep the admin area in English.

  • You mean the name of months and days? You can try to edit the locale.php in the wp-includes folder.
    But in that case what about the metadata like: posted by, filed under, X comment(s) etc?

    Yes, and it worked exactly the way I wanted using your suggestion.

    I’m making my own theme, so I’ve hardcoded the rest of the text.
    I will soon have my my site converted from MT into WordPress. ??
