Only allow users to vote once using vote it up

I’m using Vote it Up on my blog and it works great. The only issue I have is that I would like a user to only be able to vote once. As it stands a user can vote on multiple posts. Is there a way to make it so that after a user votes for a post they can not vote for another post?
