Users with other roles than administrator like editor do not have the permissions to add or edit events… Strangely enough they are able to manage organizers and locations.

How can I change this? I do not want to give admin rights just to be able to create and edit events.

Is there anyone who knows what to do about this?

    Hi @mluzvdb

The Events can either be edited by Admins, or Organizer from frontend.
Other than this, we have not given any editing facility.

That’s very inconvinient, this means I have to give non-tech website content managers the admin role, while an event is just content, like a page or post…

This is not the way normal WordPress content management rights are managed…

Also this would be nice to know before installation of the plugin… Because it is kind of a deal breaker for me.

    Hi @mluzvdb

You can provide a organizer role, and ask them to manage listings from frontend.
You can try using role editor plugin and check and configure what roles you can give.

We have everywhere mentioned, Admins or organizers. I am sorry regarding non informative as a pre installation process, however, The question could have been consulted as a pre purchase query.

    Priya
