• I’ve set the back end to javascript count.

I use the Site Ground Optimizer plugin, but have not activated cloudflare.

The counter only updates when I clear cache.

Is there a way to stop just this specific plugin from using the cache – is there something that can be done so it counts in live time?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi,

As far as I remember Site Ground Optimizer applies object caching. PVC includes object caching compatibility layer to improve performance.

    Two thoughts:

    1. If you set Flush Object Cache Interval option to 0 the plugin should not use object cachig and avoid the issue.

    2. It is possible that the views count is cached (no matter how you set Flush Object Cache Interval), but that doesn’t mean it is not counting. The counting probabnly works fine, only the post views value is displayed with a delay (which is refreshed accordingly to the caching interval).

    Please check this.
