Only 10 posts show in my RSS feed

    Hi RSS Image Feed,

    I really like your plugin – my images look great and the plugin was very easy to set up!! I have daily emails going out to subscribers (that draws from my RSS feed) and having the images there is HUGELY important to having great-looking emails!! And yours is the only plugin that works with embedded images, not just featured images!! Thanks!!

    Question: when I click on my RSS feed https://charlottesogn.com/feed/ only 10 posts are showing –
    Where’s the rest of my feed? Is there something I’m missing in the settings that is truncating my feed?

  • Hey Charlotte,
    I’m not affiliated with this plugin, but thought I would chime in with some possible help for you…

    You can change your feeds number of posts displayed in (most likely) 2 places, firstly a generic setting in WordPress itself in the admin menu at Settings > Reading > Syndication Feeds Show The Most Recent (this setting defines how many articles to show in the feed), then right below that field you can set whether to have the full content of the articles are a summary/excerpt.

    Depending on which theme you have, you may have another setting buried in the theme that defines the feed variables as well.

    If you have a cache plugin running, you would also need to clear your sites cache after changing these settings to get a new feed generated to review the resulting changes ??

    You are AWESOME – thank you so much for the reply!!

    I did discover that the setting you mentioned under Reading was the issue and that has been rectified – you were correct!!

    Now my complete feed is showing properly!! I have a few remaining issues on editing my feed to clean up my validation results (https://validator.w3.org/feed/) but I am back in business!!
