Only 1 Product but Slider shows same product 3 times in slider

Hi,
For the moment I only have 1 product, I sell tickets to music shows so sometimes I will have 5+ shows to promote but other times only 1 or 2. I have set the slider to show 3 images on desktop.

At the minute I have only 1 product, but the carousel is duplicating that 1 product and showing it 3 times in the slider. I just want it to show it once. Is there something I am missing here? I assumed the desktop:3 would mean max 3, not minimum 3.
