    I have a client looking for a site involving antique and collectable valuations through the site. Users would go onto the site, before putting in a description of the object, the dimensions, and images, before submitting and paying (one valuation for £10 or three for £25). My client would then value the item and go back to the user with it (preferably through the site, though I suppose he could probably do so through email).

    Is there a theme or woocommerce plugin available that would allow for this?

  • Hello,

    You can take a look at these plugins that might help you out with this business model, they will allow you to hide the product price and your customers need to ask for a price estimation by sending a custom quote form.

    * https://woocommerce.com/products/request-a-quote-plugin-for-woocommerce/
    * https://woocommerce.com/products/cart-to-quote-for-woocommerce/

    In case you would like to ask any pre-sales questions feel free to reach out (You’ll need to create an account before):
    https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/

    They include a 30-day money-back guarantee policy (Let’s say it is like a trial).

    I hope this points you in the right direction.

    Hi Igor, thank you for your reply, however I dont think those plugins are really applicable here. They allow for customers to give their own price, but what I’m looking for is something in which, as the customer, you buy a given number of valuations, then have a form to fill in the details of an item for each valuation bought. Those forms with item details and photos are then sent through to my client, who professionally values them and somehow (maybe through email) returns a price to the customer.

    I wouldnt be surprised if this is not possible through the use of plugins.

    Hi @benjacobs04,

    Thanks for the clarification.

    I’m not sure a plugin exists for what you want to accomplish but you can search in the WooCommerce.com marketplace entering a few keywords and see if you can find the one that will work for you.

    If you don’t find the right plugin, you might want to get a custom-coded solution for this. For assistance with customization or development of your site, we recommend reaching out to a developer from one of the official WooCommerce services at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

    Best.
