• I,ve been building a personal online gallery about my artwork.

I’m trying to keep it simple, to keep the focus on the artwork.

It’s a combination of a gallery I built in a program called WYSWYG Webuilder, and a WordPress blog. I prefer the flexibility of laying out the galleries myself, while WordPress is more flexible for updating.

It’s been tricky to make them match enough without the differences being jarring.

I’m open to any suggestions or constructive criticisms.

Thanks. I’ve been aiming for clean.

I agree with it being clean. It’s a no fuss layout that makes you artwork stand out. Great job!

Its simple, I’ll agree with you there. But I’m not sure about the massive grey border, it limits space very much. Also you have a menu on top and on the side, do you require two? You could use that space for other information.

Just suggestions. Good job on creating the site.

    Thanks for the comments.

blu3frost — You may be right about the borders. I was aiming at a width that would fit on most screens, and the program I was using doesn’t allow for fluid widths, so that seemed like the best compromise. I’ll see if there’s an alternative.
