• This is not a very easy plugin to use, and the online documentation is seriously lacking. In addition, subscribers continue to be charged a monthly subscription fee even after I have removed their product from their account. I still can’t figure out how to stop it.

    Hello:

Sorry you had a bad experience… We do have documentation here on every panel and setting we offer, including online videos, perhaps you missed them?

    https://docs.wpeasycart.com/wp-easycart-administrative-console-guide/

Also, if you connected and used a recurring payment, they are controlled by your payment gateway. Stripe.com is the place to check, this is because no card data is ever stored on easycart or your site, the payment gateways initiate and process recurring payments. Uninstalling easycart would not shut them off, they will need to be cancelled on stripe.com.

Any other issues we are glad to help, that is what support is for. thanks

I appreciate your response, but this is a perfect example to my problem with WP EasyCart. The documentation at your link is merely a description for the feature. It doesn’t help me solve problems.

Are you saying that a person cannot cancel their subscription and payment through their WPEC user profile? That once they set up a subscription payment, it reoccurs for life? That if they notify me they want to cancel, then I must contact Stripe to cancel that charge? Where is that in the documentation? I can’t find that by searching for the simple terms “cancel subscription” or “cancel subscription payment.”

I use Ultimate Member, and they have this AMAZING Q&A forum. I found answers by users and UM developers to solve 10s of issues.

So you may want to check out our video tutorials on items as well, there we often walk through various scenarios which may be helpful? we don’t really have anything that walks through every possible problem, that really is just what support is for I think and is the most efficient way to handle that… Everyone has different scenarios for their business, so we can consult you on what to do there.

With WPEC subscriptions, sure, users can cancel their subscriptions. They can simply log into the /account area and from their account they are able to open a subscription and see the details, cancel, even update the card on file.

We also have as setting in our settings -> accounts where you can enable a menu item in the users /account page to ‘Manage Subscriptions’ so they can easily find them… or they simply open the order. hope that helps.

    thanks
