Online Backup Error for Both Online and Local

  • I have been receiving Online Backup errors for quite some time now that I just noticed happening. I have since then tried to backup locally and am also getting errors. I am wanting to get this backup completed before I do the 4.0 update. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    *This error happens on a daily basis per the scheduled backup.

    Will someone please help me with this issue! I have over 9 updates needed and I cannot do any of them until I know my site has been backed up.

    I think you should look for something else to make your backups. The reports of the unknown error are many and long. Nevertheless, it is persistent and apparently not subject of any fixing. I see many, many people here who have a non-functional backup and at the same time not the slightest effort from the developers to do something about it.

    It seems that this plug-in is abandoned.

    It is official now. This plug-in is not going to be fixed ever. The developers don’t seem to be alive any more and the plugin is useless because of the permanent errors. And IF a backup finishes, after a LONG time, it produces a ZIP-file that cannot be opened with anything. What a pity!
