Ongoing Support

I’m working with a client that has a site built with this theme. The company that built it, and currently manages is, is telling the client that they won’t support the site after July of this year because “the theme developer is no longer providing necessary updates.”

Not sure where exactly that info is coming from but I’m hoping to provide the client with a little feedback from this forum. Is support for this theme going to end?
