    Hi,

I reinstalled a child-theme plugin and created a child theme of OnePress. I see the following message in the OnePress tab. What settings would be lost? I don’t notice a difference so I don’t know if I should import those settings. Please advise.

    i.e.

You’re using OnePress Child theme, It’s a child theme of OnePress

Your settings may lost do you want copy settings [Drop Down Menu: From Theme] to [Drop Down Menu: To Theme] [Button: Copy Now]

    Cheers
    BJ

  • Hi @beachsand14,

That because when you switch from original theme to child theme, the theme setting name is changed and the content will be changed too. So we build this function to help you can copy what you have done before to child theme easier.

And of course there isn’t any setting be lost if you’ve installed child theme before import or set up content.

I hope that clears it up! Let me know if you have any questions.
