    Hi everyone,

I am creating a test with 40 questions. Is it possible to have one quiz but get 3 different grades sent when the student has done the test?

So for example I want the grade for the first 15 questions and then the next and so on.

But I don’t want the students needing to open a second test.

Any ideas / suggestions would be very welcomed ??

I’ve figured this out. Using categories you can get the different marks.

    Thanks

Hiya – Can you tell what categories you used – ie there are 2 categories you can use

    Category management
    Quiz Category management

As I am trying to do the same thing but it doesn’t display anything other than overall results rather than spilt into categories?

    Thank you

    Hi Sarah,

The way I did it was by going to where you can view the questions in you quiz. Then check the boxes for the first category you want.

A pop up box will appear. Create a new category. Then click “create” and then “save”.

Now repeat if you have more categories.

Then when you receive an email with results or the user sees their results it will show the score for each category.

If I haven’t explained that very well let me know and I’ll put up a video.

    Enjoy!

thank you that makes sens e- just tried it and it does work – great – sadly the results are not in the graph just a table… but still it does work – thanks for the help
