One template, many different "skins"

I just want to say how very impressed I am with WP’s growing capabilities as a full-featured CMS. I use my personal site as a playground, most recently to convert it to a WordPress CMS-based site. The challenge was to be able to use a different look for different parts of the site while only using one page template. Well… two since the front page uses 3 columns. Kudos to the Advanced Custom Fields widget to help me pull it off. Not even close to being updated, but you can see the work in progress here: Heather’s Place Sandbox.
