    Hello,

    I am looking for some advice, whether its a workaround in woocommerce or a paid plugin, it would be gratefully received. I basically have a shop where I have a soft toy that suits 2-3 different categories, Birthday gift, teddy gift, get well gift. I would like to be able to have a separate product for each category so that I can SEO and include different themed images depending on the category, BUT I would like them to be controlled under one SKU so I can keep an eye on my stock. How would this be possible? Currently I have individual products with slight variations in the SKU, but this is becoming a pain with splitting stock and need an easier alternative.

    Thanks in advance

    @gebss,

    You can’t have multiple products using the same SKU as the whole point of an SKU is that it is a unique identifier for a specific product.

    You can add the same product to multiple categories instead of creating a unique product for each category. This already has SEO benefits, so I’d suggest looking at that.
