• Does anyone know of a registration or event plugin that can be shared over 2 or more separate word-press sites. I have a site and so does a friend, we both share events some times. I would like us both to be able to take reservations on our own site but share the data so we don’t over book, nothing fancy, simple name and number would be fine. Thx

  • I don’t think that’s possible. Both websites are running different databases and does need to talk to each other. Or if it possible, it wouldn’t be easy.

Perhaps you should look at a third party event registration tool like eventbrite. That would allow you to use the same account as your friend.

It is possible. You would need a kind of API that would let the sites communicate. I’ve done it– the communicating part, not the events part. It isn’t the hardest thing I’ve done, but it isn’t a beginner project either.

Oh, thanks for sharing @s_ha_drum I didn’t think about API, but of course that makes sense.

@krptap, if you wanted to give that a go, but not sure how to do it, you could always post your project at https://jobs.wordpress.net and just hire someone to do that part.
