    Hi,

While I can see the rationale of having one tab, this plugin is supposed to emulate Twitter, which is why there are two different tabs instead of just one.

Another benefit of having both tabs available at once is to minimize the number of clicks a visitor will have to make in order to view the “Followers” tab.

Also, in the future, if you add another BuddyPress plugin that adds an extra tab to the navigation, you will still experience the same problem of not having enough space.

If the only reason why you want two tabs is to minimize the width of your navigation tabs, then perhaps you can try and increase the width of your template or change the font-size of the tabs so you have more room to work with.

With that being said, I cannot support both options without adding a bunch more code to the codebase.

If you really need one tab, then I suggest you stick with the BP-FollowMe plugin instead.

The other option is to keep using this plugin, but hide the “Followers” nav item with CSS and add the secondary tabs back in a custom template.

I know that’s not what you wanted to hear, but hope that helps somewhat.
