• Is there a way (perhaps a plugin I missed) to display a certain post on multiple days (timestamps) without having to copy that post?

If not, this would be a nice feature: a button you can click after saving/publishing a post which says ‘duplicate post’, and then editing the next copy.

  • Instead of duplicating content, why not set up the article/s as feature or sticky post/s which be seen on front page for as long as you want it there.

I don’t think that will work. I’m using a query to show posts in a list, where future posts (events) are seperated from posts that are older than today (past events). And some events occur on several days.

Maybe some kind of calendar plugin would work for you? I know Event Calendar (firetree version) does this. You type in dates for the post, and it’ll pop in a link in a sidebar calendar – but you can also view all the dated stuff in the category you set for the calendar.

I don’t know – I’m not *totally* clear on what you’re doing, but I think maybe that’s what you’re looking for?

Thanks doodlebee, I’ll take a look at this plugin, although I think it’s a bit late for me to change the site. The festival starts this weekend ?? (https://www.kwartiermakersfestival-mb.nl/index.php).

Well, I don’t think it would mean you need to change the site. When you install the plugin, you just go to the posts that have to do with whatever Event you’re discussing and add the relevant dates and times. You can then set it to display a list of upcoming events by date, as well as have a calendar which displays said info (and links to the informational post).

If it starts this weekend, I’d say this would be the quickest solution for you to use. you may not get the post to “stick” at the top of the index page, but you can add the information where it’s readily seen in a snap.
